Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 30, 2026

Our commitment to an accessible platform for everyone.

1. Our commitment

StudentLife OS is committed to being usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we build and review every part of the Platform.

2. Standard we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

3. What we do

  • Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings and landmarks
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
  • Color contrast that meets AA, and meaning never conveyed by color alone
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and labels for icon-only controls
  • Responsive layouts that work on mobile and at higher zoom levels
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences

4. Ongoing work

Accessibility is continuous. As we add and refine features, we test and improve them. Some areas may not yet fully meet our target, and we prioritize fixing those. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us so we can address it.

5. Assistive technology

We aim to support recent versions of major screen readers and browsers. If your assistive technology does not work well with the Platform, let us know the tool and version and we will investigate.

6. Conformance status

We assess the Platform against WCAG 2.1 Level AA as we build and revise it. The Platform is partially conformant, which means most of it meets the standard while some newer or complex areas are still being brought fully into line. Third-party content, user-uploaded files (such as a resume or a logo), and external sites we link to are outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard. We treat accessibility defects as bugs and prioritize them, and we will provide an alternative way to access information or complete a task on request while a fix is in progress.

7. Feedback and accommodations

If you need an accommodation or want to report an accessibility issue, email support@studentlifeos.com. Please include the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use. We will respond and work with you on a solution.
